DMIMD Annual Conference

The Dietary Management of Inherited Metabolic Disorders (DMIMD) conference is an annual event for Healthcare Professionals working in inherited metabolic disorders.

The conference provides an invaluable opportunity for the exchange of ideas into the latest developments in the dietary management of metabolic disease. As well as highly regarded scientific content, one of the key focuses of the meeting is to provide practical advice and means to implement what has been shared and learnt.

The DMIMD program is developed by Nutricia in conjunction with healthcare professionals and aims to continue to build on the expertise shared year on year.

TEMPLE - Tools Enabling Metabolic Parent’s LEarning

The diagnosis of a metabolic disorder is unexpected and involves a lot of uncertainty about the future. Clear and straightforward educational resources that can be given to families at the time of diagnosis are essential.

The TEMPLE slides and booklets provide clear, core introductory information suitable for parents and caregivers of newly diagnosed infants or children with an inherited metabolic disorder.

The books have been developed by a team of experienced clinical and research metabolic dietitians from the UK who are members of the British Inherited Metabolic Disease Group (BIMDG).
