• Ensure the patient only receives appropriate quantity of plastics every month
• Encourage the patient to rotate all their stock on a regular basis
• Encourage the patient to participate in stock checks when receiving calls
• Encourage the patient to register for online stock checking to make it as easy as possible
• Ask the patient to get in contact with Nutricia Homeward or their managing healthcare professional if they think their regimen needs changing (too much stock)

• Option of two different size reusable bottles - 250ml or 500ml

To initiate a new patient on the reusable bottles:

1. Discuss/explain option with patient/carer
2. Discuss sterilising options as per user guide
3. Complete regimen with appropriate size bottle and 2 days supply
4. Include Flocare universal adaptor (order code 70063) in line with giving sets
5. Remind patient that these are recyclable

To switch a current patient from Flocare containers to the reusable bottles:

1. Identify potential suitable or interested patients
2. Discuss option with patient/carer to explain new option and new product will arrive in next 1 or 2 deliveries
3. Discuss sterilising options as per user guide
4. Complete change of regimen with appropriate size bottle and 2 days supply
5. Add Flocare universal adaptor (order code 70063) in line with current giving sets
6. Remind patient that these are recyclable
