The following Aptamil Sensavia formats are being delisted in all retailers from early 2021.

-  Sensavia First Infant Milk 800g

-  Sensavia Follow On Milk 800g

-  Sensavia Growing Up Milk 800g

-  Sensavia First Infant Milk 6 x 70ml

We constantly review our ranges and will be discontinuing Sensavia in all retailers. We can reassure you that we will be keeping stock of the Aptamil Sensavia Infant and Follow On Milk 800g powders available on our online shop https://www.aptashop.co.uk/shop.html until approx. September 2021 (subject to availability) as well as on Amazon until approx. July 2021 (subject to availability). Parents may also still be able to find these products in certain retailers for a little while longer as they will be discontinued at different times. Although we cannot guarantee it, please see below for the time at which we expect the products to leave retailers, subject to availability:

Tesco – March 2021

Boots – April 2021

Sainsburys – February2021

Asda – March 2021

Aptashop – September 2021 (Infant and Follow-On Milks only)

Amazon – July 2021 (Infant and Follow-On Milks only)

We still have a wide selection of products within the Aptamil range and do not have any plans to discontinue any of our other baby and toddler milk ranges at this time. Please rest assured our Aptamil Sensavia formulations are safe to use still and each recipe meets our strict quality standards. We have reviewed our ranges and chosen to de-list the Sensavia range so that we can focus on other recipes at this time.

Which formula is most suitable for parents to transition to from Aptamil Sensavia formulations?

We offer a range of formulas which may suit parents and their child. It is safe for parents to change their child’s formula if they are on a non-specialised formula milk, and they should be able to transition to any of our non-specialised Aptamil formula milks without concern. However, every baby is different, and some babies may experience settling issues when changing formula milks due to slightly different tastes, textures and composition. This is normal and any symptoms should be minimal (such as changes in stool frequency and colour).

In order to minimise any settling issues in transition, you may wish to discuss transitioning over to the new formula slowly with parents, to allow the child to adjust. This can be done using our Formula Transitioning Tool.

Why can parents buy Aptamil Sensavia Infant and Follow On milk formulations online but not stage 3 growing up milks?

We have ensured that for younger children (0-12m) we will continue to sell our Infant and Follow-On formulations via our online store to allow them to have as little disruption as possible. For those over 12 months of age, we will unfortunately not be able to do that, but we have a wide selection of toddler milks within the Aptamil range that could suit their needs.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Breastfeeding is best. Infant milk is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. Follow-on milk is only for babies over 6 months, as part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a breastmilk substitute before 6 months. We advise that the use of formula milks and the decision to start weaning should be made only on the advice of a doctor, dietitian, pharmacist or other professional responsible for maternal and child care based on baby’s individual needs. Use Growing Up milk as part of a varied, balanced diet from 1 year. Due to the blend of ingredients in the Aptamil® SENSAVIA range, you may notice a change in baby's stool consistency (looser) and colour (greener). This is perfectly normal. Not suitable for those diagnosed with a cow's milk allergy.
