NEW packaging design for Neocate LCP & Neocate Syneo from November 2025

This information is intended for patients and carers of patients who have been prescribed Neocate LCP or Neocate Syneo by a Healthcare Professional.

What’s changing:

1. Packaging design & colour of lids - Neocate LCP and Neocate Syneo

From November 2025, you will begin to see new packaging designs Neocate LCP & Neocate Syneo.

To reassure you, there are no changes to the clinical indications or dietary suitability of Neocate LCP or Neocate Syneo.

The pictures below help you to identify the changes to the packaging design, including a lid colour change (from a gold to a purple lid), should a parent/carer enquire about the new design.

2. Neocate LCP only - DHA ingredient source change

There will also be one ingredient source change for Neocate LCP only. The source of Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) has been changed to help ensure continuity of supply.

Oil from microalgae Crypthecodinium cohnii

Oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp.

This change does not affect Neocate Syneo.

There are no changes to the clinical indications or to the dietary suitability.

There are very minor differences to the nutritional profile due to the new DHA source.
