Chocolate-Caramel Fruit Tarts
1 bottle of Fortini Compact Multi Fibre Chocolate-Caramel
4 pastry tart cases
25g caster sugar
100g double cream
25g custard powder
Whipped cream and fresh fruit to decorate
- In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with Fortini Compact Multi Fibre Chocolate-Caramel then add the double cream and place in the microwave. Heat for 30 seconds then remove and stir. Repeat until the mixture thickens (don't overheat or boil**). Add the butter and caster sugar to the mixture and stir to melt through
- Pour the mixture into the pre-prepared pastry cases and allow to set in the fridge
- Once set decorate with fresh fruit e.g strawberries, raspberries and blueberries
- Pipe on fresh cream to decorate
**Do not boil Fortini Compact Multi Fibre as it may destroy the vitamin and mineral content of the product.
