NEW packaging design for Neocate LCP from November 2025 

This information is intended for patients and carers of patients who have been prescribed Neocate LCP by a Healthcare Professional.

What’s changing:

1. Packaging design, volume & colour of lids - Neocate LCP

From December 2025, you’ll begin to see new packaging designs for Neocate LCP.

The images below help you to identify the changes to the packaging design, which includes moving from a gold to a purple lid and increasing to 420g (from 400g) within a tin.

2. Neocate LCP – DHA ingredient source change

  • There will also be one ingredient source change for Neocate LCP. The source of Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) has been changed to help ensure continuity of supply.   
  • There are no changes to the clinical indications or dietary suitability of Neocate LCP.
  • There are no changes to the preparation instructions; please continue to prepare your baby’s formula as per the instructions on the label.  
  • Your Dietitian/GP can continue your prescription as usual.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Breastfeeding is best. Neocate LCP is a Food for Special Medical Purpose. It should only be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of the feeding options available including breastfeeding. Neocate LCP is used for the dietary management of Cow’s Milk Allergy, Multiple Food Protein Allergies and other conditions where an amino acid-based formula is recommended. It is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants under one year of age. Refer to labels for details.
