Nutrini Low Energy Multi Fibre

Nutrini Low Energy Multi Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrini Low Energy Multi Fibre is a nutritionally complete 0.76kcal/ml tube feed, with fibre, for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in children with low energy requirements aged 1-6 years or 8-20kg in body weight. It contains 0.8g/100ml Multi Fibre, providing 50% soluble and 50% insoluble fibre. Nutrini Low Energy Multi Fibre is suitable as a sole source of nutrition Nutrini Low Energy Multi Fibre is available in 200ml plastic bottles and 500ml collapsible bottles.

Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia, or patients requiring a fibre free diet.

If a child is at the lower end of the range for age and weight is prescribed only a small volume of feed, it may be necessary to give an additional vitamin/trace element supplement to achieve requirements for micronutrients.

Shake well before opening. Use at room temperature. Plastic bottles: can be attached directly to a Flocare bottle giving set. Alternatively, feed can be decanted into a sterile reservoir, taking care to handle aseptically at all times. Clean bottle top with an alcohol swab before opening. Collapsible bottles: can be attached directly to a Flocare pack giving set. When directly connected to a giving set (aseptically handled, closed system), collapsible bottles have a hanging time of max. 24 hours. If the cap has been removed (used as an open system) then collapsible bottles have a hanging time of max. 8 hours.

Water, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), whey protein concentrate (from cow's milk), dietary fibres (soy polysaccharides, resistant starch, inulin, arabic gum, cellulose, oligofructose) sodium caseinate (from cow's milk ), acidity regulator (citric acid), di potassium hydrogen phosphate, fish oil, emulsifier (soy lecithin), sodium chloride, calcium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium L-ascorbate, carotenoids ((contain soy) (beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene oleoresin from tomatoes)), choline chloride, magnesium hydroxide, sodium citrate, taurine, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, L-carnitine, retinyl acetate, nicotinamide, copper gluconate, DL-alpha;-tocopheryl acetate, cholecalciferol, D-biotin, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, calcium D-pantothenate, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, potassium iodide, sodium fluoride, chromium chloride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, phytomenadione, sodium molybdate. 12 months. Best before date: see individual packaging.

Store in a dry, cool place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store closed bottles in a refrigerator (<5°C) for maximum 24 hours. Discard any unused contents after 24 hours.
