FortiCare

FortiCare is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. FortiCare is a nutritionally complete, high energy (1.6 kcal/ml), high protein (11.3g protein/125ml bottle), ready to drink, milkshake style nutritional supplement, containing n-3 fatty acids and fibre for the dietary management of cachexia in oncology patients. FortiCare can be used to supplement the diet of patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods, or as a sole source of nutrition.

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia. Not suitable for patients requiring a fibre free diet.

Cappuccino flavour: Demineralised water, glucose syrup, Cow's milk protein, trehalose (a source of glucose), sugar, vegetable oils (corn oil, rapeseed oil), dietary fibres (oligofructose, inulin, cellulose, resistant starch), fish oil, flavourings (vanilla, coffee, caramel), potassium citrate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, choline chloride, carotenoids ((contains soy) (b-carotene, lutein, lycopene oleoresin from tomatoes)), colour (sulphite ammonia caramel (E150d)), sodium L-ascorbate, magnesium carbonate, potassium hydroxide, maltodextrin, taurine, L-carnitine, DL-a-tocopheryl acetate, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, nicotinamide, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, copper gluconate, retinyl acetate, calcium D-pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, chromium chloride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, thiamin hydrochloride, sodium molybdate, riboflavin, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, cyanocobalamin, phytomenadione. Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C). Shake well before use. Once opened store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
