What's changing:
1. Packaging design, volume, & colour of lids - Neocate Junior
From November 2026, you’ll see new packaging designs for Neocate Junior.
- The Neocate Junior tins will now feature a cleaner, more modern label - including a lid colour change (from gold to purple) - designed to make the range easier to recognise and navigate for families and healthcare professionals. The updated design brings the product in line with the broader Neocate range and supports clearer communication of flavour and usage.
- All 3 flavours of Neocate Junior 400g are changing to 420g at no additional cost per tin
- They will have new PIP codes & AAH codes so please ensure ordering and prescriptions are updated.
- Once available, 420g new PIP code products can be dispensed for any ongoing 400g prescriptions due to their Special Container status and NHSBSA live listing
- From 1st December 2026, only the 420g format will be reimbursed.
- In the community, Neocate Junior is available via Alliance.

2. Neocate Junior Formulation changes
The Neocate Junior range has been updated as part of our ongoing recipe development processes. Nutrient values have been refreshed based on updated raw material information, and we have taken the opportunity to refine the sensory profile of the Vanilla and Strawberry flavours of Neocate Junior, making them less sweet. These adjustments create a more balanced and consistent flavour profile across the Neocate Junior range.
There are very minor differences to the nutritional profile, but the core nutritional composition remains the same and therefore patient feeding regimens should not be impacted.

Neocate Junior’s hypoallergenicity, amino acid profile, clinical indication and core nutritional composition remain unchanged.
- There are no changes to the tin price, scoop weights, preparation instructions, clinical indications, or standard concentration.
- Stickers will be applied to the tin lids of Neocate Junior for a short period to inform users of the changes detailed here. Additional information will be available on our website.
- Neocate Junior is still manufactured in Nutricia’s milk-free factory in Liverpool, UK.
