Monogen

Monogen is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Monogen is a nutritionally complete, low fat, whole whey protein powdered feed, low in long chain triglycerides (LCT) and high in medium chain triglycerides (MCT), containing linoleic acid(LA) and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), and supplemented with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (AA). Monogen is available in neutral flavour only.

Monogen is packed in a protective atmosphere and should be kept tightly sealed and stored in a dry, cool place prior to usage. Do not refrigerate. Once opened, reseal the can and store in a dry, cool place (not a refrigerator). Use within one month.

Monogen is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of disorders requiring a low long chain triglyceride (LCT), high medium chain triglyceride intake such as: long chain fatty acid oxidation defects (long chain 3-dydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (LCHAD), chylothorax, and lymphangiectasia, and must be used under medical supervision.
