Infatrini Peptisorb is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Infatrini Peptisorb is a nutritionally complete 1kcal/ml extensively hydrolysed whey protein (peptide based) feed, designed for infants (from birth up to 18 months or <9kg in body weight). Infatrini Peptisorb is based on short chain peptides for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in infants with malabsorption and/or maldigestion. Infatrini Peptisorb is suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

Not suitable for infants with galactosaemia.

The recommended intake of Infatrini Peptisorb should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on age, body weight and medical condition of the infant. Shake well before opening and use immediately. Wash hands before handling the feed and use sterile feeding equipment. Bottle and cup feeding: Infatrini Peptisorb can be given at room temperature or warmed if desired. Warm contents by placing bottle in warm water. Always check the temperature before use. Do not microwave. Tube feeding: Infatrini Peptisorb should be used at room temperature. Before opening, clean bottle top and shoulders with an alcohol swab. Alternatively, feed can be decanted into a sterile reservoir, taking care to handle aseptically at all times. Maximum hanging time is 4 hours.

Demineralised water, glucose syrup, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (medium chain triglycerides (coconut and/or palm oil), maize oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), whey protein hydrolysate (from cow’s milk), emulsifier (citric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, fish oil, calcium chloride, acidity regulator (citric acid), calcium phosphate, potassium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, oil from Mortierella alpina, choline chloride, sodium L-ascorbate, inositol, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, L-histidine, taurine, L-tyrosine, ferrous lactate, sodium hydroxide, DL-α-tocopheryl acetate, zinc sulphate, L-carnitine, cytidine 5’-monophosphate, L-arginine, adenosine 5’-monophosphate, calcium D-pantothenate, uridine 5’-monophosphate sodium salt, inosine 5’-monophosphate sodium salt, nicotinamide, copper gluconate, guanosine 5’-monophosphate sodium salt, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, retinyl acetate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, potassium iodide, manganese sulphate, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, chromium chloride, phytomenadione, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, sodium selenite, cyanocobalamin. Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, Infatrini bottles should be stored in a refrigerator (<4°C) and unused contents should be discarded within 24 hours. If kept outside the fridge, unused contents should be discarded within 4 hours. Always discard unfinished feeds.
