Use a scale to weigh out the prescribed amount of powder and add the powder to the water. 4. Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves. Before feeding ensure that the product is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist. 5. Use immediately after reconstitution. Product remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should be discarded. Product must not be rewarmed during feeding. To prepare a tube feed, follow the advice of your clinician or dietitian for hygienic preparation and handling of the feed including sterilising equipment and using boiled, cooled water.
