Fortini 1.0 Multi Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Fortini 1.0 Multi Fibre is a nutritionally complete 1kcal/ml ready to drink sip feed, with fibre, for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in children from one year of age (>8kg in body weight). It contains 1.5g/100ml Multi Fibre, providing 67% soluble and 33% insoluble fibre (with exception of chocolate flavour, which is 0.9g soluble fibre and 0.6g insoluble fibre (chocolate flavour is 60% soluble and 40% insoluble fibre)). Fortini 1.0 Multi Fibre can be used to supplement the diet of children who are unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods, or it is suitable as a sole source of nutrition for children aged 1-6 years or 8-20 kg in body weight (see precautions).

For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: disease related malnutrition; growth failure.

Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia, or patients requiring a fibre free diet.

Due to the fibre content, intakes greater than 4 bottles per day should be used with caution.

Fortini 1.0 Multi Fibre is best served chilled. It may be frozen or gently heated (not boiled). Shake well before opening.

Vanilla flavour: Water, maltodextrin, glucose syrup, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), cow's milk protein caseinates, dietary fibre (soy polysaccharides, inulin, oligofructose, resistant starch, arabic gum, cellulose), sucrose, emulsifier (soy lecithin), di potassium hydrogen phosphate, flavouring, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, acidity regulator (citric acid), calcium chloride, choline chloride, tri calcium phosphate, carotenoids (contains soy) (b-carotene, lutein, lycopene), sodium L-ascorbate, calcium hydroxide, potassium chloride, taurine, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, L-carnitine, potassium hydroxide, nicotinamide, copper gluconate, retinyl acetate, cholecalciferol, sodium selenite, DL-a tocopheryl acetate, manganese sulphate, D-biotin, calcium D-pantothenate, thiamin hydrochloride, chromium chloride, cyanocobalamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, phytomenadione. Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, Fortini should be consumed within 4 hours, or stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Discard unused contents thereafter.
