Nutricia Annual Paediatric Research Award 2024

This year we are offering customers the opportunity to apply for funding of up to £15,000 to support research projects exploring the nutritional management of paediatric patients within the fields of paediatric allergy, growth and infant feeding across hospital or community settings.

Open to applications from Tuesday 30th April 2024.

Eligible applications for funding include:

  • Clinical trials
  • Service evaluations
  • Surveys or audits exploring nutritional needs and management
  • Healthcare use and/or economic evaluation of nutrition intervention


A variety of research project ideas will be considered, including but not limited to:

  • Service or economic evaluation looking at sustainability in paediatric tube feeding regimens
  • Audit to explore community management of common infant problems such as colic or reflux
  • Implementing or evaluating services for cow’s milk allergy management
  • Service improvement in the management of faltering growth in children
  • Guideline development for breast milk fortification in preterm infants 
  • Digital innovation supporting improvements in waiting lists or virtual consultations
